If the Nexus Mod Manager still doesn’t work, then switching to Vortex can be helpful for downloading mods. Vortex is the nice middle ground between Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) and Mod Organizer (MO). It has a few features that are better and not available on the other ones. I just got a new computer, so I'm going to install all the graphics mods my old laptop couldn't handle. But, I can't download any mods with the nexus mod manager. I click the file, the little popup with the loading cirlce comes up, then it goes away but no downloads que in the manager.
